题名: The relationship between the relative growth rate of Potamogeton maackianus biomass and its initial biomass in Baoan Lake

英文摘要: The effects of different initial biomass on the yearly growth of potamogeton maackianus were observed at the artificial sample sites under natural conditions during the period from April 1994 to March 1995. In every month, the regression relationship between relative growth rate of P. maackianus biomass (Y, mg cntdot g-1 cntdot month-1) and initial biomass (X, g cntdot m-2) could be expressed as Y = a - bX, (b gt 0), indicating the higher initial biomass, and the lower relative growth. The growth model of P. macckianus was proposed and the biomass predicted. P. maackianus community biomass can be 610.7g cntdot m-2 in Oct. when initial biomass ranges from 5 to 1000g cntdot m-2.
