Other AbstractThe Author studied the 540 soil samples of Western Tian-mu Mountains (Zheijiang provine) quanlitertively and quantitertively for one year. 115 Species of Protozoan, including 11 Species of Phytomastigophora, 28 Zoomastigophora, 29 naked sarcodina, 15 tested Sarcodina and 32 Ciliata, had been identified. The 115 speciese were mainly composed by seldom appeared species, among them, there were one new species (Bryophyllum tianmuensis sp. nov.) and 14 new record in China. The 10 dominant species were Bodo Monas, Oikomonas, Colpoda, Euglypha, Trinema, and so on. The Bio ass of Soil Protozoa had Seasonal change, the highest Biomass appeared in May to July. The vertical distribution of soil protozoa showed that, the most of them distribute at 0-5 cm soil layer. less at 5-10 cm soil layer and quite rare at 10-15 cm soil layer. In addition to above, the influence of enviorenmental factors had been discussed.
